As if being a super-talented, Grammy-award-winning super star isn’t enough. Rihanna has recently made strides in the world of beauty with her release of her cosmetics line ‘Fenty Beauty’. A statement on the official Fenty Beauty site states,
“Rihanna was inspired to create Fenty Beauty after years of experimenting with the best-of-the-best in beauty—and still seeing a void in the industry for products that performed across all skin types and tones. She launched a makeup line “so that women everywhere would be included,” focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, creating formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades.” Fenty Beauty

Fenty Beauty which was released both online and in stores on the 8th of September, falls under LVMH’s Kendo Brands and the partnership was worth a whopping $10 million! The beauty brand is available in over 150 countries and includes a variety of products such as foundations, highlighters, lip glosses and bronzers.
The collection has received amazing reviews so far and especially because of its diverse range for all skin colors. Check out some of the reviews below:
Rihanna also travelled to London for the Fenty Beauty x Harvey Nichols launch this past Tuesday, September 19th where she took on the role of makeup artist doing a few lucky fans makeup!

Last week, she also made headway with her Fenty x Puma collection during New York Fashion week. She explained, “I get bored easily. I wanted to take it back. You have to keep the consumer excited.” When asked about the new direction of the line. Check out some of the pieces below:
Fashion and beauty aside, the Bajan star held her third annual Clara Lionel Foundation, Diamond ball. The event was hosted by Dave Chappelle and featured musical performances by Calvin Harris and Kendrick Lamar with a number of famous personalities in attendance too.

The ball raises money for the Clara Lionel foundation which Rihanna launched in 2012 in honor of her grandparents to improve education, health, arts and culture around the world. This past August, Rihanna launched the dollar campaign. Every $1 donated will provide one brick to a school in Malawi, $5 will provide five bricks to a school in Malawi, $10 will provide 10 books, $15 will provide a female student with essential school supplies and $20 will provide a month of schooling for one student.
Rihanna is definitely living her best life, be it through her artistry, fashion, beauty or philanthropy. I think its pretty safe to say Rihanna is shining bright like a diamond. Go girl!
